Browsers

PureDeal supports a full range of browsers. The chart below shows the average login time for a selection of common browsers.

While PureDeal affords consistently fast execution and an advanced, reliable platform to trade, our tests show that you could improve your login time by switching to a different browser.

Which browser should I use?

This chart shows the average number of seconds it takes to log into PureDeal for a selection of browsers, after ten attempts. The fastest browsers are at the top, while the slowest are at the bottom of the chart.

(PureDeal, 20 December 2011)

Our testing revealed that Google Chrome topped the performance chart, and that the most recent versions of other common browsers performed much faster than older versions. Internet Explorer (IE) versions 6 and 7 (which we no longer support), and to a lesser extent IE 8, performed particularly poorly. If you are using one of these older browsers, we recommend you update to the latest version, IE 9 - your login times could be reduced by as much as 10 seconds.
