Custom Options Contract Details

Settlement

Australia 200: Australia 200 Fast Option will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

FTSE 100: FTSE 100 Fast Option will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Forex: All forex Custom Options on IG Markets will settle against the mid-point of the IG Markets price for the relevant market at the time of expiry, or the first tick after the stated expiry.

US Light Crude Oil: All US Light Crude Oil Custom Options will settle against the mid-point of the IG Markets price for the relevant market at or immediately after the time of expiry.

FTSE 100: All FTSE 100 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Germany 30: All Germany 30 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Wall Street: All Wall Street Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

US 500: All US 500 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

France 40: All France 40 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Italy 40: All Italy 40 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Spain 35: All Spain 35 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Sweden 30: All Sweden 30 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Netherlands 25: All Netherlands 25 Custom Options will settle against the first new print recorded by Bloomberg (E&OE) on, or after, the time of expiry.

Closing Custom Options

Fast Options: Due to the nature of Fast Options (ie the strike price moves constantly with the underlying market) IG Markets will be unable to value open positions or offer the opportunity to close existing positions. Therefore, Fast Options will always be held to expiry.

Minimum premium on Custom Options is A$10

Maximum profit on Custom Options is A$10,000

Expiry Times

Fast Options: Fast Options will always expire on the same day that the option is purchased. The minimum expiry time is two minutes from the time the option is purchased, and the maximum expiry time is the end of the trading day for that particular market.

Operation of your Custom Options account

Your Custom Options account will sit alongside your IG Markets CFD trading account. Please note the following terms and conditions:

• You will only be able to access your Custom Options account via your CFD trading account;
• You must fund your Custom Options account via your CFD trading account, and you may only withdraw funds from your Custom Options account via your CFD trading account;
• Your Custom Options account and your CFD trading account will be treated separately for margin purposes. This means that we will not take into account money that you have on your Custom Options account when assessing whether you are liable for margin on your CFD trading account, and vice versa.
• Your Custom Options trading activity and information is available in the 'History' tab of your Custom Options account. You will not be able to view these details in your CFD trading account history.
