IG Markets is Australia's fastest growing CFD provider, according to a recent survey by Investment Trends.
The Investment Trends 2008 CFD Report is an annual report providing a detailed analysis of the Contracts for Difference (CFD) market in Australia.

According to the report, there are 26,000 active CFD traders in Australia while an additional 33,000 investors intend to commence trading CFDs within the next 12 months.
Record growth
IG Markets figures show that in the past 12 months we have seen a record number of new accounts opened, and during September and October, since the global financial crisis increased market volatility, record numbers of clients have been trading.
IG Markets' parent company, IG Group, has also experienced significant growth, recording 5.1 million trades in October globally. This is an increase of over 100% on trades 12 months ago.
