We have added RSS feeds to some of our most popular pages, including Market Commentary, Morning Prices, FX Focus and our Highlights. The purpose of this page is to explain what RSS feeds are and how you can set them up to get IG Markets news and commentary delivered automatically to you.
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is easy way for publishers e.g. news-related sites and blogs, to make content available to subscribers. Through RSS, news can be automatically sent to subscribers to a variety of mediums.
Why should I use RSS?
RSS feeds make using the web convenient for regular users by:
- Accessing the latest news from the websites/blogs you subscribe to, and storing it in a central place
- Saving time by allowing you to avoid visiting each site individually
- Offering increased content, with the number of websites providing this service growing by the day
What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?
RSS feeds can be read using software called an RSS or feed reader, which can be web, desktop, or mobile-device based. Recommended RSS readers include:
Once you have selected your reader, subscribe to the IG Markets' feed you would like by clicking the RSS image link on the designated page. The page that opens will offer you one-click access to subscribing to this news feed.
