The 2012 Santos Tour Down Under was a phenomenal success for both global cycling and our partnership with racing champions, Team Sky.

Team Sky Results

The Santos Tour Down Under was once again a successful race for Team Sky. Edvald Boasson Hagen won the points jersey due to his consistent strong performances. He finished in the top 10 in five out of the six stages.

The other big positive of the race was the return to health and fitness for Mick Rogers. The Australian was injured for large parts of last season, but returned to form on home ground, finishing fourth overall - just 14 seconds away from winning the race.

World champion, Mark Cavendish, will make his Team Sky debut in February at the Tour of Qatar. 'I could not be more excited about the coming season. In many ways it has felt like coming home, by joining Team Sky. I've grown up with many of the riders and management and they have shown in just two years how far they have come.' Cavendish said. We look forward to seeing the 'Manx Missile' in action.
